What’s a “goya”

Goya is very popular traditional food in Okinawa as kind of vegetable. But a lot of people don’t like goya especially in main land of Japan. I think there are two reasons why many people don’t eat it preferably. First of all, people hate the appearance of goya. Goya has a lot of knots on the surface, so people may feel that how grotesque, grim and rough this green vegetable is!!!! Second, its taste is so bitter. I guess it is the most bitter food in all of vegetables. Okinawan call it “goya” while people of main land call it “nigauri”. We can know that nigauri(goya) is bitter taste from the name. A bad first impression can occasionally cause the negative prejudgment. But it’s healthy and has nutrition and some vitamins. Yes Goya is healthy food to keep healthy.

My Room

I like soccer very much. Therefore I decorate my room with a lot of soccer goods. First, three posters of soccer player are hung the wall of room. All of others, my favorite poster is Micheal Owen who is representative player of England, and he is small but he has good technique and can run fast. Second, I have some trophies and medals which I got in elementary school days for winning some games. And I arrange it on my desk as my friends can see it. Then, a few months ago I got small soccer ball it looks like the real thing by crane game. I don’t decide place for setting the ball, because sometimes I play with the ball in my room. Finally, I hung a lot of picture that were taken in game and with team members by friends and family with wall. As you know, my room was flooded with soccer goods. It’s a pretty comfortable room for me to spend, because I’m surrounded by soccer goods.

My Favorite Place

I have a favorite place in Okinawa. It’s a water front of Sunabe and is located in Chatan. I lived in near the place until junior high school student. I used there for jogging and swimming with my friends. Then, a lot of people use there for fishing, running and ,sometimes some people enjoy doing scuba diving in front of sea shore. Yes, the place is a busy in the daytime and makes me happy. But the sociable atmosphere turns in evening. The place turns to be romantic mood because many outdoor lamps go on and we can see a beautiful sunset. And, the place and the time heal my heart. I recommend you to go there with your partner. How live on a small budget

At first, I don’t use money in co-op store at university. Because there are a lot of things attract me. If possible, I make a luncheon instead of buying a luncheon around university. At least, luncheon is about three hundreds yen. If I make a luncheon every day except on Saturday and Sunday, I will save about one thousands and five hundreds yen every week!! Second, I don’t use air conditioner of car besides summer season. Then, I don’t put a lot of money in my wallet. And I handle my household accounts. I recommend you to make it. Because it makes you notice that how did you use money and what things did you buy. Finally, after pay day, I say that I’m not rich! I’m not rich in my mind every time.

How to clean up after a house party

At first , I change my clothes. After party my clothes may be dirty because I eat some food and drink something. Next, I open some windows for getting away bad smell and hot air. Then, I collect some trashes. Next I wipe tables using duster. I like to wipe tables and floor with a damp cloth. So, I think that wiping table is fun for me.Then, I clean floor and mat with cleaner. Next, I clean rest room. I think after party, rest room is most dirty in my house. Then, I want to clean entrance and arrange some shoes.Finally, I wash dishes. Washing dishes spend much time on working

My brother

3rd grade. He isMy BrotherI want to introduce to you my brother. My brother is high school student and he is not tall but he can run fast and his muscle is so great! He has been playing baseball for 10 years from elementary school, so he is good at playing baseball. Recently, he got a girl friend who is same school student and cute girl. But my brother is very shy, so he does not talk about his girl friend with me. He has a dream that is to be officer, I hope his dream come true.

My friend

I’d like to introduce to you my friend. His name is Ryuta Uehara. He was born and rased up in Itoman city where is the extreme south of the Okinawa island. He live in the city with his father, mother and two sisters(one younger and one elder). He takes 40 or 50 minutes to come university by his car every day. Now, he is sophomore of Ryu-dai and he majors linguistics. He can speak English very well, because he studied hard English in his house. And he has joined the English Play from this summer vacation. He said I want to get a part time job, but I don’t have much time for sake of practicing of English play and studying some subject. I think he is very busy person!He has a nice dream. That is to become a free journalist or free cameraman. Because, he likes trip, so he want to travel the world as job. He likes English and he is good at making friends, so I think that kind of jobs are nice for him. He is very kind man and gentle! I like him. Thank you!
